At the recent WWCMA event, Leading with Compassion: Fostering a Workplace with a Culture of Care, we explored how caregiving touches nearly every employee — whether through childcare, eldercare, disability support, or the sandwich generation — and the impact this has on stress, performance, and workplace culture.

This follow-up webinar continued that conversation with a focus on small and mid-sized employers, who face the same caregiving challenges as large organizations but often with fewer resources.

Together, we’ll explored how to:

  • Broaden the caregiving conversation beyond childcare and eldercare to include disability support, gaps in local resources, and building communities where “care deserts” exist.
  • Equip managers as champions, giving them tools to identify challenges early and support employees before caregiving needs affect performance.
  • Amplify ERGs/BRGs with meaningful resources that strengthen parent and caregiver communities across the workplace.
  • Address inequities, highlighting how smaller organizations — particularly those in regions with limited care infrastructure — can deliver benefits that rival enterprise-level programs in ways that fit their budgets and realities.
  • Learn from real-world caregiver journeys that demonstrate how the right support can save employees hours each week, reduce stress, and deliver measurable improvements in engagement and retention.

By the end of the session, we walked away with practical strategies and tools that:

  • Strengthen workplace resilience and wellbeing.
  • Show how digital caregiving benefits consistently deliver 97% employee satisfaction and a 91 NPS.
  • Help small and mid-sized businesses compete for talent with benefits that level the playing field against larger organizations.
  • Provide a clear picture of how caregiver support can be launched in weeks — with impact felt immediately.
