Join us to better understand implications of decisions about coverage of GLP-1 medications for obesity, and how to design a strategy that balances employee health, organizational culture, and financial viability.

Thank You to Our Event Sponsor:

Approximately 1 in 3 adults provide unpaid care for a dependent child, a disabled family member, and/or an older adult—spending an average of 24 hours per week on caregiving responsibilities. Research shows that the demands of caregiving can significantly increase stress, loneliness, and financial strain for these employees.

How can organizations foster a culture of care that supports caregivers across the lifespan? What benefits and resources can employers offer to help caregivers in the workplace—and how can they cultivate an environment where caregivers feel psychologically safe using those supports?

This event will explore the various forms of caregiving—including parenting, caring for aging parents, sandwich generation, supporting disabled family members, and even pet care.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how to create a workplace culture where employees feel psychologically safe and supported in meeting their caregiving responsibilities, and empowered to utilize available benefits.

  • Learn the business case for investing in a culture of care for caregivers in the workplace.
