Join us to better understand implications of decisions about coverage of GLP-1 medications for obesity, and how to design a strategy that balances employee health, organizational culture, and financial viability.
Join us for a thought-provoking panel discussion with three experts in the field of caregiving:

Caregiving touches nearly everyone at some point in life – whether through parenting, caring for aging parents, supporting a loved one with a disability, navigating the “sandwich generation,” or even tending to the needs of pets. Today, about 1 in 3 adults provide unpaid care for a dependent child, disabled family member, or older adult – spending on average 24 hours per week on caregiving responsibilities. The impact can be profound, often leading to increased stress, loneliness, and financial strain.

This panel will explore how organizations can foster a culture of care that supports employees across the lifespan. Discussion topics include:

  • Benefits and resources employers can offer to caregivers
  • How to create an environment where caregivers feel safe using those supports
  • Practical strategies for balancing caregiving responsibilities with work
  • The business case for investing in a caregiver-supportive workplace

You’ll also learn about the latest research, hear innovative approaches from leading organizations, and gain resources to better support caregivers in your community and workplace.

For more background, see this recent American Psychological Association article on the physical and mental health effects of caregiving.
