We were inspired and energized as we celebrated a decade of community and well-being at our 10th Annual WorkWell MA Awards event – it was an afternoon of learning proactive approaches to workforce mental health followed by celebration and networking!

We uncovered the secrets to peak performance with our keynote speakers Dr. Rich Joseph and Sarah Milby. They went beyond basic “wellness” to show us how supporting mental health can be a powerful asset to building “performance cultures” that sustain vitality, buffer stress and proactively offset mental health crises.

Following the keynote, we had the opportunity to engage in Learning Spotlights with local organizations successfully addressing workforce mental health. We enjoyed refreshments, connected with peers and explored an engaging group of behavior change exhibitors. The day culminated with a celebratory dinner and the 2025 WorkWell MA Awards ceremony, where we honored this year’s outstanding award winners.

Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, discover new ideas, and celebrate the incredible work being done to foster well-being in our community!

Mental Health Symposium Keynote

We’re long past “wellness as a perk.” And mental health is not just about avoiding burnout. It’s the foundation of human performance. In this keynote, husband and wife Rich Joseph and Sarah Milby will share the lens of Performance Medicine: a proactive model that treats health as a trainable capacity rather than a crisis to manage.

Drawing from experience working with executives, founders, and teams under pressure, our keynote speakers will explore how organizations can shift from stigma and siloed programs to building “performance cultures” that buffer stress, support attention, and sustain vitality. They’ll connect physiology and psychology – sleep, metabolic health, musculoskeletal pain, resilience training – and outline practical levers leaders can implement immediately.

The goal is to give employers a new playbook: one that positions mental health not as a liability to contain, but as an asset to invest in for long-term performance and organizational success.
