The Future of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace
With Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) taking center stage in society and in the media recently, June is a good time to review your workplace DEI initiatives. With June Pride Month celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and Juneteenth (June 19) now becoming a national holiday celebrating the end of slavery in our country, there’s an important and renewed focus on the human rights of all people, and justly so. But it must go much further than annual parades and events. Bringing DEI initiatives into the workplace with actionable and sustainable programs is key to making diversity, equity and inclusion a natural part of our daily life – at work, in school, at home, and in our communities.

The Future of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion 2021 survey by the HR.com HR.Research Institute ran in December 2020 and January 2021. HR.com gathered 374 usable complete and partial responses, primarily from HR professionals in virtually every industry vertical. Respondents are from all over the world, with the majority from North America, especially the United States.
