Kate is the Associate Director of Reproductive and Gender Affirming Health at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. She returned to Blue Cross after working as a Nurse Practitioner in family practice and in Women’s Health at an OB/GYN clinic. Kate previously worked as a high-risk pregnancy case manager, a trainer on the health and medical management training team, as well as a manager in Utilization Management for medical policy. Her vast experience in Reproductive Health and her deep knowledge of Blue Cross positioned her to lead the new Reproductive Health and Gender Affirming program. Kate is responsible for facilitating both the member and account experience related to Reproductive Health milestones, with a focus on fertility, maternity, NICU care, women’s health, and gender-affirming health needs.
