What resiliency strategies is your company implementing? Joseph Cappellano, Director, Health & Wellness at Suffolk Construction, was looking forward to understanding if this falls within wellness or learning and development objectives. He shared his Suffolk’s approach, which addresses resiliency through performance and manager training on the difficulties of leading in a fast-paced and stressful environment.

Joseph is the Director of Health and Wellness for Suffolk Construction where he leads, designs and implements a comprehensive, multi-year health & wellness strategy to promote the success and retention of employees on a national scale across the organization. Prior to taking this role, Joseph spent seven years in five distinct positions with the nonprofit arm of Suffolk Construction, Scholar Athletes, where he helped build and grow the organization from initial stages to serving over 4,000 high school students across Massachusetts providing youth development programming.

Joseph also serves as Member-at-Large for the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts.
