Karen Gobler

Marketing and Communications Chair

Karen is the Principal of Vital Link, a consulting practice dedicated to converting strategies into messages that employees can understand and adopt easily. She has been a valuable partner to global companies across industries, providing critical thinking through tactical execution. Karen is proud to have supported the launch of a corporate wellness center and a corporate wellness practice with impactful and frequent communications that resonated with employees. Earlier in her career, she held communications-related roles at Millennium Pharmaceuticals (now Takeda), Millipore Corporation, Lightbridge and Pilot Software.

Karen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Brandeis University and a Master of Science degree in Corporate Communications from Boston University. She plays an active role on both the Membership & Marketing Committee and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee for the Human Resources Leadership Forum (HRLF). Karen also is a LEAD Program graduate and IMPower Program mentor for Women Unlimited.

Fun Facts: From social ballroom dancing to chasing 80s cover bands, Karen is happiest on the dance floor!
