Building Bridges to Emotional Fitness

Tuesday, October 27, 2020 / 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM / WEBINAR

Prior to COVID-19, the World Economic Forum projected that the burden of mental illness would cost the global economy $6 trillion by 2030. The global pandemic has only exacerbated emotional health and wellbeing, resulting in increased anxiety, depression, loneliness, substance use and suicides. Considering these challenging times, supporting and providing actionable solutions for employees’ emotional health and wellbeing is more important than ever before. This can be achieved through Emotional Fitness: the capacity to build emotional strength, endurance, and flexibility through meeting essential needs, securing a sense of belonging, cultivating a sense of purpose, and finding opportunities to flourish. During this session, you will learn:

  • Common mental health impacts resulting from the pandemic
  • How to assess your own mental health and identify risk factors in others
  • Training techniques to improve emotional fitness
  • Guidance to achieve and sustain total wellbeing in uncertain times

Our featured speaker is Robin Bouvier, Vice President in the Health Solutions practice at Aon.
