It is the hard work and dedication of our volunteers that makes WWCMA an amazing resource for the local wellness community, and I want to thank the outstanding volunteers that are the heart of the Council.
Over the years we’ve recognized our volunteers in many ways — with awards, spotlights, and events intended to recognize and build our community of talented and dedicated volunteers.
In 2021, we celebrated our 10-year anniversary in December with a celebration event to showcase and thank the many unique contributors to our organization. In 2022, we intend to continue this new tradition by hosting a recognition event for WorkWell Massachusetts Awards winners as well as our amazing volunteers! Stay tuned for more details in the months to come.
For me personally, serving as a volunteer and board member for WWCMA has been, hands-down, the most rewarding and influential contribution to my own growth and success, as a leader and team member. Through my 10 years with WWCMA, I have gained skills, experiences, connections, friends and opportunities that have truly enriched my life. I want to thank all of you for being part of this amazing journey.
I hope to pay that forward, as I hope you will, by spreading the word of volunteerism and the value of giving back, and sincere thanks for the tremendous work of volunteers everywhere, during this very important week!
